Kauhale Kai has now spent over 4 years traveling the world . This year we passed 50,000 ocean miles, a distance of almost twice around the center of the earth! She has offered us a million small moments of adventure, laughter, excitement and satisfaction.

Each person who has spent time with us aboard has been a big part of that experience. I once said, "If I ever make it big I'm going to buy a big boat and invite all my friends to come and play with me." Well, play we have. Thank you....all of you who have been a part of this experience. The journey continues!!

Ischia

We arrived in Ischa after 24 hours at sea to finally meet up with Keiki Kai and our good friends on board. This was another picturesque anchorage just below the old castle in a beautiful bay with crystal blue water. It was time to finally get out the water toys. We spent our days wake boarding, jet skiing, swimming, eating gelato and catching up over cocktails. The third day we moved to the other side of the island and went to the local hot spring baths that were quite interesting.

Hi Kauhale Kai Crew,

Just want you all to know how much we enjoy following your adventure through this blog site. It is so much fun to "be on your trip" with you. Great shots and so beautiful to see the little (pre-honeymoon) couple enjoying themselves.

Keep up the great diary and pics.

Love,
Russ (Lilly's Dad)

Hi Guy's,

I just bumped into you site whilst looking at kitesurfing in Ishcia. I'm captain on 35m motor yacht called Eliza Jean.

She is med based, but me and the crew are much more broad minded! Any way love what you are doing.

I hope soon to take a boat around the world, or at least get back out to the further flung sea areas.

If you ever need an excellent crew then you could do a lot worse!!!

Get in contact p.a.mcwilliams@gmail.com

Keep safe and happy cruising. Paul.

Found a "Kauhale Kai" Soft Cushion/Flotation device on Great Barrier Island a couple of days ago.
Is your vessel still around Auckland
area? so we may arrange return?

Any chance you could pay your outstanding (Since Jan 2009) account for Electronic Navigation Ltd? Have not been able to contact Ben for months and he promised to pay up months ago... Thanks.
