Kauhale Kai has now spent over 4 years traveling the world . This year we passed 50,000 ocean miles, a distance of almost twice around the center of the earth! She has offered us a million small moments of adventure, laughter, excitement and satisfaction.

Each person who has spent time with us aboard has been a big part of that experience. I once said, "If I ever make it big I'm going to buy a big boat and invite all my friends to come and play with me." Well, play we have. Thank you....all of you who have been a part of this experience. The journey continues!!

Lasting memories....

If you're awake at sunrise, you're often treated to amazing views...

A very fun loving group of friends...

Huahine.....memories of a dear friend!

Wendy's dear friend Louise passed away last month. We had the good fortune to have been able to spend time with Louise and Rick in the Tuamotu's in 2008. After they visited us they went on from Papeete to spend time on the beautiful island of Huahine. Louise fell in love with the island. So this time when we came back Wendy sent some of Louise's ashes out to sea at this very magical place Louise had come to love. We'll miss her but a part of her will stay always with us amid our memories of the beauty and serenity of this final resting place.

Fishing, swimming with manta rays and being spontaneous!

After a few tequila's Sally always wanted to get naked and jump. Well at least she wanted to jump!
