Kauhale Kai has now spent over 4 years traveling the world . This year we passed 50,000 ocean miles, a distance of almost twice around the center of the earth! She has offered us a million small moments of adventure, laughter, excitement and satisfaction.

Each person who has spent time with us aboard has been a big part of that experience. I once said, "If I ever make it big I'm going to buy a big boat and invite all my friends to come and play with me." Well, play we have. Thank you....all of you who have been a part of this experience. The journey continues!!

Antibes, France

We are in Antibes, France anchored just outside the old castle walls of the city. After a few nights stay in Juan les Pins, France, it's really nice to finally be aboard the boat. It's still quite surreal and we're all just getting used to this incredible reality. The French Riviera is very beautiful and reminds us of home in many ways: the weather, the mountainous backdrop, the boardwalks, and vegetation. I have to admit though, the cafe and pastries are much better over here and the language more beautiful; it's also much more expensive. Today we will pull up anchor and head over to Ville France du mer, very close to Nice, and onto Monaco the following day. We are full of gratitude and hope all is well at home.
