An attempt to display and summarize the travels, visitors, and myriad adventures taking place on a great big boat on a far away sea
Kauhale Kai has now spent over 4 years traveling the world . This year we passed 50,000 ocean miles, a distance of almost twice around the center of the earth! She has offered us a million small moments of adventure, laughter, excitement and satisfaction.
Each person who has spent time with us aboard has been a big part of that experience. I once said, "If I ever make it big I'm going to buy a big boat and invite all my friends to come and play with me." Well, play we have. Thank you....all of you who have been a part of this experience. The journey continues!!

Monaco
I had no idea Monaco was a country of its own. I had no idea there was a harbor anywhere in the world with so many mega-yachts side by side, and I had no idea you could have a casino with such a stuffy, serious, and uptight atmosphere. Monte Carlo is all the above. Despite my surprise, or maybe because of it, my evening in Monaco was brief and enlightening. Orion doubled his money in his all but 4 hands, Lilly doubled our captains in the same, and we spend a total of about 3 hours on land. We watched as European elite drove up in the newest, flashiest, and designer vehicles, people were escorted in the casino doors, and I, almost escorted out for capturing the photograph below.
(well the boat is here and my time in the internet cafe is up so picture coming soon.)
