Panama Canal Crossing
We began our crossing at 9:30 pm from the Caribbean side, entering the first of the three Gatun Locks.
We completed the transit the following day exiting through the three Miraflores Locks.

Molas, embroidered and hand stitched, are brightly colored cloths and are worn by the female Kuna Indians (and are always for sale!)
A local fisherman who brought us fish and lobsters for dinner.

Isles des Saintes, Guadaloupe

We spent a couple of days anchored in this bay outside a very quaint French village
Montserrat
Just another beautiful sunset!
Ed and Tomi Spaw joined us in Montserrat where we visited an abandoned recording studio previously used by the Beatles and the Rolling Stones before the volcano erupted and destroyed half the island
Ash and volcanic mud buried the capital and destroyed many resorts such as this golf course

Graham's birthday on Barbuda
After spending a picture perfect day at the beach biking, kayaking, swimming and throwing frisbee, we all enjoyed a superb dinner on Keiki Kai for Graham's birthday.

Tiare joins us in Antigua and we cruise to Barbuda where there are miles of pink sand beaches lined with palm trees
Nate's 5 year old birthday party brought out the clippers and all the guys ended up with mohawks!!!
